HAPPY FRIDAY!

Thank you to all the students for doing your exercise logs over the holidays and remembering to turn them in. Kudos!!

For those who have not turned in your logs, please do so. The log is part of your grade. You may include recess, walking the dog, and doing laundry.

As of today, we are on the 5th challenge. Let's try and complete at least 2 more after this. The more we complete, the better the chances are that we may win some new equipment or money for our PE program. Besides this, we are getting into shape and building great muscles!

Keep up the great work!

We are making great headway on this challenge.  Hopefully, we will be one of hte winning schools to receive $1000 toward P.E. equipment or maybe even $5000!!!

Enjoy the holidays and have fun!

One more thing: Give a little love this Christmas. Y

Happy Thanksgiving!

Here is the latest from the PE Corner:

All exercise logs are due on November 21 for everyone. They will be returned on Monday, November 24. The kids are to keep their logs from November 24-January 8. They will then turn in their logs to me. I would greatly appreciate it if the parents would initial the hours that are being put on these sheets.

Keep up the good work!! We are making headway on this program. Hopefully, at the end of the year, we will be one of the winning schools to receive some money for equipment or supplies.

Let's keep pursuing victory with honor!

Governor's Challenge

It's the Governor's Challenge time again!

I have spoken with all the classes/students and have informed them that they should keep a log of all their play time and any exercise they do outside of P.E. This log should be shown to me every Friday. Friday, September 12 should be the first log showed for Kindergarten-6th grade. 7th and 8th graders should be on their 3rd log sheet.

The log can be kept on a piece of paper in a folder or in a notebook. I will be checking them off in my grade book. Don't fret if your kids have not started. Have them start now and turn it in next Friday the 19th. Let's try and rank in the top 10 this year for the challenge!
